Aimee and I had never been as far south as the region of Calabria or Sicily and this was exciting for us and for Frank was thrilled to return to where his ancestors had been born.

This was our first view of Sicily as we crossed the strait on a ferryboat and being among the first on board we got a forward-looking seat on and enjoyed the sea breeze.
