Saint Mark's Basilica is the cathedral church, the most famous church in Venice and one of the best-known examples of Byzantine Architecture.

This painting is over the main entrance to the Basilica.

This statue was one of many such statues that adorned the upper section of the Saint Mark's Basilica with a great deal of intricacy in its design.
