Legends state that the Tuatha Dé Danann, the mysterious God like people of ancient Ireland, bought the Stone of Destiny or the Coronation Stone to this site and when the true King stood on this phallic symbol, it would roar three times. Naomh Pádraig is Irish for St. Patrick (c. 387-493) who was a Romano-Briton, which is the result of the intermarriage of the Roman conquerors, and the indigenous Britons, the Celtic People. |
