The town of Rovito is a small town located just ten kilometers from the town of Cosenza with a little over twelve hundred families residing.

My grandfather and namesake, as well as his parents, Maria Saccomanno and Michele Mazzuca, were all born in the town of Rovito.

Rovito has a population today in just the thousands today and it is very likely that the owners of this mini market are relatives of mine.

On the left is a narrow lane with barely enough room to drive my small Fiat Panda which is located at the northern termination of the road named Via Giuseppe Mazzuca, where I am standing at on the photograph below right and who I discovered was Michele Mazzuca's uncle.
