In September of Two Thousand and Three, we closed on a house to be remodeled and this process of renovation had occupied our resources and time for well over eight years, as well as maintenance projects. The work had seldom progressed as fast or as easy as I thought it would and looking back, I realize that this undertaking was far more involved than this then fifty-year old body should have attempted. The personal rewards, of the accomplishments of remodeling and rehabilitating this jewel in the rough, one room at a time, at least for me, have been enormous. |
This photograph was taken by the original owner and is the front of the main story, which is over the bedrooms and recreation area below. |
My family and I enjoyed playing in our community pools in our previous home and one of the features of this house which we knew we would enjoy is the twenty foot by forty foot swimming pool, complete with a diving board. |
