After a lapse of far too many years and as a portion of a month long visit to the United Kingdom, we toured by self-drive the country of Wales in July of 2008. |

We entered Wales from the West Midland area of England & traveled the width of Wales from the English border to the coastal town of Aberystwyth &from there traveled north to Portmeirion, where we stayed for one week while visiting the Llŷn Penisula, Anglesey Island & Snowdonia. After our stay at Portmeirion resort, we traveled by way the charming mountain town of Betws-y-Coed to the English border. |
