Portmeirion is a most wonderful resort located on an estuary in the northwest region of the country of Wales, surrounded by woods, with easy access to many historic sites in Gwynedd and the beautiful Snowdonia Mountain area and this makes Portmeirion an ideal base to explore this region. My new bride and I visited Portmeirion on our honeymoon for several days in nineteen eighty-eight, we returned for a week stay in nineteen ninety-eight and the photographs on these pages are from a week we visited Portmeirion in July of Two Thousand and Eight.
