Photographs from Our Visit to Portmeirion

The Goddess Freya from Norse mythology and the demi-God Hercules from Greek mythology are located about the Village Green of Portmeirion, which is complete with a town hall and a reflecting pool.

God and Goddess

Hercules stands in the path from The Green Dome to Town Hall carrying the earth for Atlas, one of the Twelve Labors of Hercules and the Town Hall has an elegant plaster ceiling removed from a mansion in Flint, England that depicts the Twelve Labors of Hercules.

Freya, the Scandanavian Goddess, stands along a path, in the photgraph above and below is a photograph of the reflecting pool on the village green.
