The Overlook was built in 1957, this flat circular structure has views of the estuary, and it was prominently displayed in the cult-television series the Prisoner episode "Dance of the Dead" and is located between Cliff House and Gate House.

Along the entry path from the car park to the village center, past the Cliff House, there are stairways leading down to the overlook and below the overlook is the grotto with intertwined fish and seashells and soda bottle imbedded in the walls and the mermaid reclines adjacent to the overlook wall.
